Universities in the Netherlands offer more than 1500 courses and programs in different areas; these are taught entirely in English. As in most international educational centers, students with a non-native English language are required, a language proficiency test recognized as TOEFL and IELTS, or other tests prepared by Dutch universities; these tests will certify that you can read, write and speak the language at a good level and it will open the doors to begin your studies in the Netherlands.

  2. Professional programs of higher education in applied sciences universities. Universities with applied science programs prepare students to work in specific professions, such as the plastic arts or education.

All master’s programs require a bachelor’s degree for admission. A bachelor’s degree from a research program geared toward admission to a research program oriented at the master’s level is required;however, applicants with a bachelor’s degree from an applied science program may be admitted if they meet additional requirements.
